Welcome to Morning Star Christian Church of Austin, Texas. It has been said, “if you want God’s best for your life, find out what God is doing in your generation and throw yourself into it.” Here at Morning Star, we are passionately committed to God and to His purposes for our generation! We believe God has called us to not only reach this generation, but to raise up a generation who will reach the future generations!
Some of Jesus’ last words on earth were: “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations.” Morning Star Church of Austin is a part of an international family of churches that is committed to fulfilling this great commission. For over twenty years, the founders of Morning Star International have worked in partnership to impact the world for Jesus Christ. This mission of honoring God and advancing His kingdom through church planting, campus ministry, and world missions has produced a ministry with churches in over thirty nations, reaching out to over three hundred university campuses.
In Psalms 2:8, God the Father told His Son, “Ask of Me and I will give you the nations as Thine inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Thy possessions.”
In the book of Revelation, we see a picture of the throne of God and a song being sung to Jesus, “Worthy art Thou… For You were slain, and did purchase for God with Your blood men form every tribe and tongue and people and nation.”
The price has been paid! Through His death on the cross and the power of His resurrection, Jesus has given all men the opportunity to know the Living God!
