 For almost twenty years, the founders of Morning Star International have worked in partnership to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
In 1994, long-time friends Rice Broocks, Phil Bonasso and Steve Murrell heard the call of God to establish Morning Star International, a worldwide family of churches that seeks to honor God and advance His Kingdom.
 The mission of church planting, campus ministry, and world missions has produced a ministry with churches in over thirty nations, and a vision to reach every nation in our generation.
The vision to reach every nation in our generation through church planting has taken the form of a plan we are calling the 2010 Initiative. Simply stated, we are believing for every local church to plant at least one new church every three years. By the year 2010, we can plant approximately 2000 new churches. In order to fulfill this mandate, we need to draw on the combined visions, talents, prayers, contacts and resources of our worldwide Morning Star family.
