 Life Fellowship Groups - The purpose of Life Fellowship Groups is fourfold: evangelism, pastoral care, discipleship, and leadership development.
The fruit of evangelism is cultivated in the Life Fellowship Group. In this environment the new believer finds fellowship. It is also a place where the unsaved person is given the opportunity to see God's work in the lives of believers.
In a Life Fellowship Group individuals can find pastoral care, prayer support and counseling, and also enjoy the benefit of accountability.
Life Fellowship Groups are a venue to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Growth in the believer occurs through Bible studies, prayer and one-on-one discipleship. Spiritual gifts are discovered and encouraged, and unlimited possibilities are revealed for meaningful service within the church and throughout the community.
Lastly, these special groups serve as the source for the selection, training, and mobilization of leaders as well as the vehicle through which leaders are launched into ministry. |
